This error is usually caused by a Microsoft .NET issue or a Windows update issue.

First, update Windows.

Then, install the latest version of .NET 8 from the link below:

Download and install the version appropriate for your PC’s environment from the .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.19 section.

Other users have reported that the installation was successful after canceling the last Windows update.

An antivirus program may also be blocking the installation. Please temporarily disable the antivirus program and try installing again.
