System Net Sockets SocketException

I am getting the following desktop shortcut error since upgrading to the Pro version 2019.12.22

System Net Sockets SocketException The requested address is not valid in its context

I have done a RaiDrive Repair and also a complete uninstall / fresh install and still get the same error?

RaiDrive itself works

I should add there is also now 2 desktop icons is this correct as both point to the same directory “C:\Program Files\OpenBoxLab\RaiDrive\RaiDrive.exe”. 1st is showing an “empty” comment box within Shortcut Properties while the 2nd says “RaiDrive Center” so not sure if that helps.

Has anyone got a suggestion on what I need to do to correct this error.

Hi~ @Mark_Carney,

We could not reproduce a exception like your report.
Could you share the snapshot including your settings?

Thanks for the reply, screen shot of desktop shortcut error when trying to open and right click properties.

I have looked at my service.log and it appears ok to me however I noticed the folowing within the center.log is this correct?

2020-01-16 08:46:17.848 +00:00 [INF] == RaiDrive Center Starting : Version : 2019.12.22 ==

My OS is Windows 10 version 10.0.18362 Build 18362

Basically RaiDrive does not use localhost( IP address.
We carefully guess that some program (or environment) on your PC are handling the communication for the internet.

Is it possible?

Thanks for your reply,

Everything is standard on my environment so not sure why RaiDrive is being affect as no other program has this issue.

As a precaution I have just done a rootkit and full system scan to check for any trojans etc resulting in an all clear.

Thanks for your help I will investigate further my end.
