SFTP Speeds Are Too Low

I’m getting 3-4 MB/s download speeds. My local download speed is 60 MB/s (480 Mbit), and the server I am downloading from has an 125 MB/s upload speed (1000 Mbit). Using Filezilla, I can reach up to 30-35 MB/s, so why can’t RaiDrive do the same? Is downloading not multithreaded?

Hi~ @PaulZ ,

Currently, in our internal testing, the speed of SFTP is normal.
The reason SFTP is slow is usually when you upload multiple files from Explorer.
Because RaiDrive operates as a file system, it operates according to system requests.
When requests from the system arrive sequentially, they are processed sequentially, and if multiple requests arrive at the same time, they are processed simultaneously.
Explorer uploads files one by one when uploading, and RaiDrive uploads each file in several steps.
Therefore, if there are multiple files, the overall speed will decrease.
If the speed drops when uploading one large file, please let me know again.
E-mail(support@raidrive.com) us the log file(C:\ProgramData\OpenBoxLab\RaiDrive\log) and we’ll see if there are any other issues.
