SFTP just stops sometimes?

I’m running the latest version. Its mostly fine. Take a while to connect to my SFTP directory but when it does its works fast and smooth. but then all of a sudden (30 minutes later, 5 minutes later, etc.) it will stop and freeze for a minute. then continue like nothing happened. why?

If the issue persists, please compress the log folder below and send it to support@raidrive.com.

  • C:\ProgramData\OpenBoxLab\RaiDrive Mount\log

If an error occurs when compressing the log folder, or if the service.log file is missing from the compressed result, please copy the log folder first and then compress the copied folder.

Seems better. still very slow to initially connect, while FTP is instant. nonetheless I used SFTP all day with no pausing.

The new version of RaiDrive checks supported features to provide various functionalities when using SFTP.
Depending on the server, this feature check can take more than 10 seconds.

In the official release, we plan to make modifications to reduce this check time.

Thanks, but the process takes longer then 10 seconds. Its more like 30 seconds at least. I would guess its a reverse DNS issue because it never fails, just pauses as it tries to reverse resolve something? Just guessing.

It appears that there is an actual delay of over 60 seconds, and a 10-second delay occurs for each request when performing various checks via Shell commands.
Therefore, a total delay of over 1 minute occurs.
(This analysis is based on logs, and actual results may differ slightly.)

This issue will be further adjusted in the new patch version.

However, to definitively reduce the long delays during various checks, please try updating the OpenSSH on your server.
The minimum requirement is OpenSSH 8.8, and OpenSSH 8.9 is recommended.
