Raidrive randomly disconnecting from computer

Hello,

I’m using my raidrive as a local disk on my Plex server but the drive keeps disconnecting after a certain number of scans have taken place.

Hi~ @Sheldon_Lewis1,

We are testing the Plex Media Server operation.
Could you send the log files(C:\ProgramData\OpenBoxLab\RaiDrive\log) when disconnecting?

Google Shared drives seem that some operations are under the abnormal state which cannot be failed over. It might be caused by MSIf29ca.tmp file. Could you try again after removing this file?

Hello,

I found the issue. So i’m using windows server 2019 standard. The behavior of the application when you disconnect from a remote session it disconnects the drive and remaps it. While during the remapping plex was running a scan for media. So plex scan thought that the media had “moved” so it deleted all and started over again. (stupid behavior I think)
My workaround is I created a secondary user configured raidrive on that account then I sign off completely. Logged into my plex (windows user account) and found that the drive was mapped and I could access it. Currently I have not yet to run across a random disconnect from leaving rdp session.
