Hi, @steinar

This may be a temporary error with the OneDrive API server.
Especially if the error message is “Gateway Timeout,” this indicates an API server issue.
Please disconnect from the drive, wait a while, and then reconnect.

If the issue persists, please zip the log folder below and send it to support@raidrive.com.

  • C:\ProgramData\OpenBoxLab\RaiDrive Mount\log

If an error occurs when compressing the log file or the service.log file is not included in the compressed file, copy the log folder and zip the copied folder.

If you are not using the RaiDrive Mount version, please upgrade.

There is nothing interesting in the logs except Read timeouts and error 301. I am so tired of RaiDrive.

Please fix this @RaiDrive already it’s been several days!

There is no Gateway Timeout. It is a READ TIMEOUT. It is the fault of the application, not OneDrive. @RaiDrive

CacheFile Read Failed : {“WinErrorCode”:258,“NotifyErrorCode”:301,“RaiException”:“READ TIMEOUT”}

Is anyone going to fix it or are we going to blame and point fingers at each other like Spiderman?

I have sent the logfile. I have also tried earlier versions of Raidrive, but same things happen. So something has probably changed in the Graph API, but it doesn’t seem to be a publicly known issue with Microsoft. Hope you can figure something out.

Tested with ExpanDrive now. Works without a problem. AFAIK ExpanDrive uses the same API to reach the OneDrive for Busines files. So it seems this is a RaiDrive issue. Maybe DNS or HTTP/2?

Can confirm for me as well. OneDrive and SharePoint services are unable to open files above 50 KBs. any file under 50 KB opens just fine. Need this issue fixed asap as its disrupts operations of services.

Hi, @Jesus_Alejandro_Lima , @Sam_van_Tiel , @steinar , @SFA_AFS

Sorry for the inconvenience.
We’re unable to reproduce this issue internally, so we’re tracking it down with other users.

Please wait a little longer as it takes time.

Hi, @Jesus_Alejandro_Lima , @Sam_van_Tiel , @steinar , @SFA_AFS

When connecting to a specific OneDrive Business account or API server, download requests are redirected to SharePoint.
Normally, downloads are not redirected, but they appear to be redirected in certain situations.
The link below is a patched version that improves handling of download redirects.

Please let me know the results after testing.

I am able to open video files that are under 50 MB since they are tiny in size, but anything above that size is unbearable no matter the video format or size.

@RaiDrive is not using any bandwidth in the Task Manager. RaiDrive.Mount.Service.x64 barely utilizes anything between 0.1 Mbps to 2 Mbps on my gigabit fiber connection… That is horrible. The logs don’t have any errors or indicative of the slowness. The sustained download speeds just aren’t there anymore.

Others can refute or agree, but this is not resolved at all. Labelling it a “Solution” so quickly and a half-baked makeshift nightly build hardly inspires confidence. I appreciate that you investigated it, but this is far from resolved.

I haven’t made all test yet, but, the problem seems to be fixed, for me at least, Ill write again after all the tests. Thanks for your time.

For the record: I marked it as resolved, since I started the thread. Did you download the nightly build? I get ¨100Mbit/s same as before. Sounds like the speed thing may be a different issue?

Just installed this build, Seems to work fine.
Fixed for me.

Yes, I’m using the nightly build that they shared. Maybe because I’m trying to stream a video (.mkv) that is uploaded on OneDrive, but it could be working for other use cases like file copy, downloading and transfers.

Same usage here. Playing everything fine.

Everything is working fine after the last patch. But there is another weird thing that has happened: All my drives now has label as disconnected network drive. Not the label I write in Raidrive for each OneDrive account. Anyone else experiencing this?
