I noticed that a video file size differs from that which is on the google server and the one showing up on the RaiDrive network drive. How so? Have I missed some “don’t compress” checkmark?

Hi~ @ArtursP,
Google Photos API does provide the transcoded version of the original media event though you choose Original option in the Settings page.
