Cannot install on arm64 - Visual C++ Install failed

Hi,

I’m unable to install Raidrive on Arm64 Thinkpad Windows 11.
“Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-2022 x64 mandatory prerequisite was not correctly installed.”

I tried installing the VC++ manually for arm64 from Microsoft - appears to have installed, but the Raidrive install still fails.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi~ @Evan_Platt,

Thank you for your report and sorry for your inconvenience.
We have confirmed that this is a bug and release a new patch ASAP.

It has been fixed at version 2023.9.35.

Awesome, thank you! I was able to install it now.
Question:
So say I map a drive (Google Drive if it matters) to letter H. I go to a CMD prompt, go to H:\BIN folder.
It’s not ‘seeing’ all files if I do a selective DIR, ie “dir rust.*” - it says file not found. But there ARE at least 3 or 4 files that match that criteria? ie if I do the same command from a computer running the actual google drive app, the same command shows those files.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

@Evan_Platt, thank you for your bug report.

It will be fixed at the coming patch. :slightly_smiling_face:
