i was wondering if you are watching or looking at a mp3 or mp4 do you stream the file or downlaod them temporarily?
RaiDrive just directly delivers the file(stream) to your PC from the remote storage without any other remote delivery agent(or server).
When streaming or delivering the file, where is the temporary folder, where is the buffer? Having an SSD, I’m worried it’s going ti wear out the SSD, constantly writing and deleting files…
(My usecase is Plex Media Server, I store my files in Google shared drives, and with raidrive, trick Plex into thinking it’s a local drive. So from google drive, through plex and then to my devices.)
You can change the temporary folder path in the Settings .
