# The Disk is write protected

Just bought a new Lenovo slim Laptop and every time I try to upload to GDrive using RiaDrive i get the following error  
The disc is write protected. Remove the write protection or use another disc  
Can you help please RaiDrive has the read only check box ticked and i cannot remove it

Hi~ @Edward_Hargreaves,

The license has been changed from version 2020.11, so you must subscribe to the Professional Edition to use the writing function of Google Drive Business (G-Suite).
