# Failed to rename files

When I try to rename files on a remote server, it says “you need authority from Everyone”.

The connection to the problematic server is relative slow (the server is overseas). However, when it comes to a relatively fast server (a local server or a domestic server), this problem does not show up. I guess the problem is caused by an unreasonable timeout value. Is there a way to fix this?

wait… it does not come from slow connection. It seems comes from yas3fs I used on my server…

No hurry to reply this issue. Let me test more…

But renaming files served by yas3fs works fine through ssh…  
How does raidrive implement file renaming?

Since the SFTP server only returned a “Failure” error, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause.

To check if there are any basic environment, file name, or other issues, please send the log file(C:\ProgramData\OpenBoxLab\RaiDrive\log) of RaiDrive via e-mail([support@raidrive.com](mailto:support@raidrive.com)) and we will tell you again.
